Buckle Up Your Pet – It’s the Law!

If you travel with your cat or dog in New Jersey, the law now requires you to buckle up your pet.  New Jersey recently became the only state in the country where driving with pets loose in a car is a violation of animal cruelty law. Drivers who transport animals without proper restraint can face a ticket of between $250 and $1,000 and as much as six months in jail.
