Position Summary: Provide expert insurance advice and advocacy to a select group of new prospects. The PL Advisor’s primary responsibility is to develop new business opportunity by helping each prospective client manage & protect their risk of Property & Casualty loss through comprehensive coverage/exposure evaluation & analysis and recommending custom solutions suited to each client’s lifestyle & economic goals.
This is NOT an entry level position. The PL Insurance Advisor requires advanced knowledge in all areas of personal lines Property & Casualty Insurance. Skills require the ability to relate to a wide range of consumer needs and effectively utilize multiple products and markets to deliver well rounded, wide-ranging insurance & risk management solutions serving the best interest of the client. To this end each PL Advisor is supported by a team of insurance professionals allowing our Advisors to provide personal attention focused on the client’s risk management plan and overall goals.
Qualified candidates must hold a NJ P&C Producer License and have a minimum of 7 years “Independent Agency” experience successfully working to match individuals & families with multiple P&C products, markets and its complexities. Having professional designations such as CPIA, CISR, or CIC is preferred but not required if in the course of completion. We offer opportunity for advancement, career education & development.
